I had a great time at Crafts in the Pen last weekend.
Despite the cold (needed lots of layers a hat, gloves and a carpet to stand on), there was a good crowd all keen to find gifts. Ironically it was the hottest day of the year when I did Art in the Pen, and last weekend was the coldest so far.
A steady stream of visitors stopped to chat and or buy. My neighbours were lovely and supportive, we went in relays for warm drinks and I will definitely keep in touch with them through social media. It is a well organised and interesting event, even if you do have to transform a cattle pen into an enticing gallery. I would recommend giving it a go if you get chance.
